Rocket Ventures

Savage Consulting serves as the Fund Manager of the Rocket Venture Fund, which was established to provide seed capital to early-stage technology companies in Northwest Ohio. Companies seeking investment from the Rocket Venture Fund must:

• Be located in Northwest Ohio 
• Be developing a proprietary technology in areas such as: 
• Advanced Materials, Ag/Bioscience, IT, Electronics or Controls 
• Own or license Intellectual Property (IP) 
• Present a clear business plan and exit strategy 
• Focus on the Imagining, Incubating and Demonstrating phases 
• Have less than $5 million in sales and 30 employees 
• Provide a technology-based solution for large and expanding market segments 
• Scalable to $30 million – $50 million in 5 to 7 years

Rocket Ventures is a $22.5 million public-private initiative. Rocket Ventures was started by, and is an affiliate of, the Regional Growth Partnership.
